Wrap-Up of Recent Alumni Events

Allegheny County Regional Wine Tasting Event –Twenty-one alumni members met up on Thursday, June 19, at Dreadnought Wines, in Pittsburgh's Strip District, to learn about various wines. The group learned which cheeses paired best with which wines and were also treated to antipasto, bread, and cookies. Raffle prizes were given away during after-class socializing. It was our first W and J wine tasting event in the 'Burgh!

Hershey, PA Cocktail Reception – What a lovely event! W&J alumni, parents, and friends gathered on a Sunday night to partake in a Day of Wine and Roses, held in the Hershey Rose Gardens. The gazebo remained our central spot, but guests wandered throughout the grounds to sample delectable wines from regional wineries. Although the heat was remarkable, everyone agreed we should meet up next year--same time, same place!
