Allegheny County Dreadnought Wines Event - 6/24/2008

Twenty-one alumni members met up on Thursday, June 19, at Dreadnought Wines, in Pittsburgh's Strip District, to learn about various wines. The group learned which cheeses paired best with which wines and were also treated to antipasto, bread, and cookies. Raffle prizes were given away during after-class socializing. It was our first W and J wine tasting event in the 'Burgh!

Hershey, PA Event - 6/8/2008

What a lovely event! W and J alumni, parents, and friends gathered on a Sunday night to partake in a Day of Wine and Roses, held in the Hershey Rose Gardens. The gazebo remained our central spot, but guests wandered throughout the grounds to sample delectable wines from regional wineries. Although the heat was remarkable, everyone agreed we should meet up next year--same time, same place!

Boston Regional Wine Tasting Event - 4/14/2008

Twenty three W and J alumni and parents gathered from near and far to enjoy an evening of wine tasting and instruction at Jonathon Alsop's renowned Boston Wine School. Jonathon, the owner, founded the school in 2000, and offers private tastings and wine classes. The Boston crowd loved their evening spent on Commonwealth Avenue this past Friday, April 11.

New York City Regional Cocktail Reception - 4/9/2008

Hosted in the Manhattan home of Jason '96 and Kim Isaly. The party went on long after the stated end time, and our gracious hosts didn't seem to mind! Our New York alumni love to socialize, and the Isalys' home was the perfect venue.

It was a great night and a great group! The event was held in the Greenwich, CT home of Barrett '67 and Patricia Burns. There were many repeat attendees from last year, and we thank everyone who came out!

Homecoming 2007 was a hot one! The Presidents beat Thiel on Saturday, the Fifth Quarter Tent moved to a new location, and Reunions ending in 2s and 7s had themselves a ball!
