Reunion Committees
Each fall, at the conclusion of Homecoming, the alumni and development offices begin to assemble the next year's reunion
committees. These committees, representing reunion years from 45 through 15 years, have the important responsibility for recruiting other committee members, contacting classmates to encourage participation in the reunion and reunion gift, and participating in reunion meetings and pre-reunion events. If you are a class member celebrating a reunion and are interested in being part of a reunion committee, please contact Sarah Sperry, Assistant Director of Parent Relations and Reunion Giving, at 724-250-3335 or ssperry@RemoveThisPart.washjeff.edu.

50th Reunion Committee
The 50th reunion is a momentus occasion for W&J Alumni and being a part of the reunion committee is 2005 50th Reunion a special way to become involved in the planning of both the weekend and the class gift. If you are a member of the class of 1957 and would like to be a part of the reunion committee or would like to find out more information, please contact Sarah Sperry, Assistant Director of Parent Relations and Reunion Giving, at 724-250-3335 or
ssperry@RemoveThisPart.washjeff.edu. The 50th reunion for the class of 1957 will be on the weekend of May 18-19, 2007.

Jay Admission Council
The Jay Admission Council (JAC) is composed of W&J alumni and parents. The members of the Council work with the Admission staff in the recruitment of qualified students from their immediate geographical areas. Members are knowledgeable about the application process and are kept abreast of current information through College publications and correspondence from the admission staff. The council is structured to serve the needs of prospective students and their families. If you would like to become a member of the Jay Council, please contact Amy Doria, Assistant Director of Admission, via e-mail adoria@RemoveThisPart.washjeff.edu or by telephone at 888-W-AND-JAY.

Career Guidance
As an alumnus/alumna, you can help W&J students network and guide them down a successful career path by partnering with the Office of
Career Services. With the career service office's resources, you can promote job opportunities/internships and mentor students in your particular career field. To volunteer your time, complete the Career Service Volunteer Form and someone will be in touch with you.

Award Nominations
The Alumni Relations Office annually presents two awards during Homecoming Weekend. The Distinguished
Service Award recognizes alumni and friends for loyalty and service to the College. The Alumni Achievement Award acknowledges alumni who have had great career and life achievements that have brought recognition to the College. Nominations for these awards are accepted by the Director of Alumni Relations throughout the year, and then are reviewed and selected by the Governance Committee of the Alumni Executive Council. To submit your nomination, use the nominations form.

Alumni Executive Council (AEC)
The
AEC is the policy-making committee for the general alumni body. Elected members serve 4-year terms on the Council and meet twice a year. Within the Council, members serve on various committees (Governance, Communications and Programming) that act as working groups. If you are interested in finding out how you might become involved in the AEC or to nominate someone for the council, please contact Michele Hufnagel, Director of Alumni Relations, at mhufnagel@washjeff.edu.
