To all the members of the Class of 1963, welcome to the Old Guard! This prestigious honor has been bestowed upon you recognizing your commitment to Washington & Jefferson College.

To celebrate this honor, classmates and their guests celebrated together during Commencement Weekend, May 17-18, 2013. They enjoyed campus tours, cocktail receptions and the Commencement Ceremony together.

At the ceremony, they were officially inducted into the W&J Old Guard by President Tori Haring-Smith. They celebrated by leading the crowd in a rousing rendition of Whichi Coax.

In celebration of the 50th reunion, 40 percent of the class gave more than $640,000 in support of the College.
A portion of these funds established the Class of 1963 Endowed Scholarship Fund.

This endowed scholarship will serve as a legacy of the class of 1963 – creating a permanent gift that will help W&J students both now and into the future.
