<< BackW&J Raising Money for Victims of Earthquake in Haiti
Washington & Jefferson College has raised more than $400 to date for victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti.
Money was raised at the College’s recent “Presidents Got Talent” student show and throughout last week as students collected donations outside George and Tom’s in the Rossin Campus Center.
“Our students are always willing to step up and help out, particularly in such a time of need,” said Gerald Stebbins, associate dean of student life at W&J. “We will continue to explore opportunities to raise not only funds, but awareness, of the terrible situation in Haiti.”
Stebbins said for now, money collected will be given to the American Red Cross.
