Based on guidelines from the CDC and PA Department of Health, as well as feedback from members of the College community, other university/college officials, and members of the local community health system, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all on-campus alumni gatherings through December 2020, including Homecoming & Reunion Weekend. We did not come to this decision lightly, as our alumni family is very special to us, and we always look forward to celebrating together each fall. 

This determination is one of many measures planned to ensure our commitment to the safety of our students and the entire campus community as we prepare for an August 17 reopening of classes and residence halls.This decision is consistent with that of many western Pennsylvania colleges and universities and follows current state-wide restrictions on social gatherings.

We will miss seeing you in person and hope we will be celebrating together face-to-face soon. Until then, we encourage you to keep in touch with us and one another via email, through our virtual event offerings, or by submitting a class note.
